Choosing the right tennis holiday is a difficult decision and the range of services available varies considerably. Through out sister company Sunset Sports, we have been running successful tennis holidays for over 8 years with players commenting on the quality of our coaching and the right mix of great destinations and social events. Many of our players come back to holiday with us every year which we feel is our biggest testiment.
We carefully plan each of our tennis holidays to make sure every player has a fantastic experience and there is always a coach on hand to lend you valuable advice about your game or discuss the game of tennis in general.
Hosted Holidays: Further Information
There are important features to each of our hosted tennis holidays that we feel make players want to return year after year to play tennis with us. Firstly, we put a lot of effort and time into the design of the coaching and social programme for each holiday. This includes the balancing the amount of on court time with other activities and free time so that players can maximise their time in their chosen tennis destinations.
The coaching programme itself is always aimed at players with some initial tennis experience and we find that the overall standard of play on our trips is higher than the majority of standard tennis holiday in the market.
Players are initially assessed and then places into groups of no more than 6-8 people and they are assigned a coach each day that will take them through 2-3 hours of highly skilled coaching that aims to significantly improve each players level of understanding of their own game.
In addition to this, players are encouraged to take part in social tennis and competitions during their holiday which is normally a good way to shake off the lunchtime glass of wine! Following these social mix-ins, we have evening enetertainment organised every night from visits to local restaurants to local productions of west end shows and pool parties. Players are also encouraged to follow their own programme as well and we are happy to recommend local tourist attractions that make a good day trip or evening out.
Hosted Tennis Holidays: Other Activities
Our hosted tennis holiday can be taken to include other sports and activities as well. We are pleased to offer in October 2011, a tennis and golf option for our trip to Aphrodite Hills in Cyprus which includes 3 rounds of golf instead of tennis coaching but still allows players to join in the social tennis and evening entertainent.
Players may also like to add their own activities to our trips with a wide range of possibilities including spa treatments, local excursions and horse riding. These activities can be included as extra sections to your holiday or can be built in to replace certain parts of the programme that you would like to miss out.
If you have children that you would like to bring along for our hosted tennis holidays, then we have selected venues that provide excellent childcare and entertainment services to occupy your children while you play tennis. We can also recommend babysitting services if you wish to participate in any of our social programme. Please note though that the majority of our hosted trips focus on adult only groups and there are restrictions on children participating in the tennis and social programmes.
